Edelbrock TES & Early Model SBC
Hello Everyone,
Will the Edelbrock TES Headers work with a early style block(two piece seal)....say casting # 010,014,688,386.......Will the oil pan clear the Header's "Y" pipe? I will modify the block for Passenger side dipstick.
Thanks Everyone

The blocks are externally the same dimensions, so the TES should work fine. Same with the pan. I had a 1969 350 block in my GTA for awhile and all of the stock exhaust bolted right up, like it should have. I doubt you'd have any problems with the TES.

afgun,
Thanks for your input...I had already bought the TES headers before I decided to go with a older block. Glad it will work out nicely...I was concerned about the oil pan clearence. Did you have anything else to add about the installation?
Thanks
