Go with the Mufflex 3" yipe that collects into a 4" and then run their 4" catback w/ the spintech muffler. I am about to swap over to the this setup only I decided to use their 3.5" catback. Good luck!

I'm running full length Hedmans right now and it was a huge pain in the *ss to install them plus about $400 for exhaust work. In the great state on Indiana(and everywhere else I think) the converter can not be moved. The only problem with this is that the header exit further back than the front of the converter! So the exhaust people ran a cross over tube UNDER THE TRANS PAN and the back to the front of the car and then it finally started making its way back. I wanted them to use oval tube for the crossover for ground clearance reasons and instead the used a HAMMER to make a round tube square! Then I had to install a heat sheild so I wouldn't boil trans oil. If you do run full lengths you have to run custom illegal duals for it to work. Currently I'm bypassing the system with cable operated cutouts. That'll show 'em.

87 T/A super comps full dual 3" exhaust, no tailpipes. easy as pie to put the headers in, make sure you go from the bottom of the car. I spent 4 hours wrestling one from the topside. I can install my headers in about 15 minutes
hey twistedwedge......... how did you run the rest of the exhaust? was it expensive? do you have any pic or anything? any reccomendations? i have southside subframe connector and crossmember/ladderbars and have to make sure they fit over the top of the cross member...... thanks for any help

87tpi- I ran the exhaust pretty much straight back. It doesnt have tailpipes, reason behind that is too much restriction, not enough room, plus i hate that crackling sound. If you can find someone that has a 3" bender and is able to crush it a little bit to clear your crossmember, it can be done fairly easily and cheap. my whole system is about 250-300 dollars hope this helps
