Removing Stock Exhaust
I am going to be ordering some headers tomorrow morning. I was wondering if I can remove all those emissions air tubes that come off the stock exhaust? I don't know if I will be replacing them in the future, but is it hard to replace them? And, when I do remove it, what is it attached to that I will need to plug? I'll do some hunting, but I waited till the last minute to ask.

if you dont have to worry about emissions in your area...rip the A.I.R. pump off (its a belt driven pump on your engine) thats what all those tubes are connected to. On your new set of headers, just order ones without air tubes. If you do have to worry about emissions....I wouldnt unhook em, just get headers with air tubes and hook em back up.
