I have a cheap set of summit headers that fit on my 84 Z 28--L69. Now I have someone who wants to know if the same part would fit on a 92 Camaro IROC with a 305? The part is listed to fit 82-91 Camaros.....

I am not an expert by any means, but is there that much difference between a 92 and a 91?

I dont know why some places do that, but yes, 91 and 92 cars are the same. It should read 82-92.

no such thing as a 92 IROC.

 

No kidding. didn't they loose their contract with International Race Of Champions
in like the mid 80's ??

The last year for the IROC was 90. I believe the guy was referring to 3rd gen. camaro's hence 82-92.

I've seen that on a lot of aftermarket parts lists. It's like they forgot about the 92. Every time I've called any company, they said it would fit a 92 also. I guess they need to update their books.
