My new duals

Here are a few shots of them. Clearance isnt great, but I think once I get it welded and get rid of the clamps it will be livable. Here are a few pics.

They sound great from what I heard, but didnt get to run them long yet. Trying to work out some problems with the motor.

Well, I havent driven the car yet so I dont know if I will have clearance problems or not, but I believe that other than the clamps it doesnt get lower than the collector flanges. I was hoping to try to get my problem with it worked out today but we just had an ice storm yesterday and now it is snowing and I really dont want to take it outside in this cold and snowy weather to work on it. The lowest point is in the second picture though.

are those the headman s bends? did you do any other custom bends on the rest of them? looks good.

Yes, those are hedman s bends. They are the only bends I had to use at all, but I did have to modify the s extension on the drivers side. It turns out that the flange on my header on the drivers side doesnt aim exactly straight back. I had to cut a "pie slice" out of the side of the pipe and heat it up and bend it together and reweld it. This allowed it to aim straight back instead of ending up under the driveshaft. There are no places locally that do mandrel bending so this was the only way I could retain the diameter of the pipe and bend it. If I had them just bend it some more it would have squeezed the pipe down to probably about 1.5 inches. Here is a link to when i was first trying to figure it out. I have a diagram I made real quick on how it was lining up instead of how it should. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...postid=1090724
