I just installed this system.
Difficult to install? I had to remove the motor mount bolt and jack up each side (one at a time) to install the respective header. It also interferes directly with the factory KC4 oil cooler, which I had to remove. It was a fairly involved process... removed the spark plugs, manifolds, starter and dipstick tube.
The headers were welded on the insides of the tubes, which I considered a restriction. I had them welded on the outside and then ground out the welds from the insides of the tubes. They also don't come with long bolts and bushings to retain the factory accessory bracketry. You're on your own if you want/need to do that.
I also had mine stripped and HTC coated because I wanted lower under-hood temps and longer life out of them.
The tru-fit system, however, is very very nice. No gaskets or donuts to go bad or get mangled. The fit was fairly decent.
I installed those headers along with a cat from Mac and their chrome-tipped cat-back. It sounds pretty mean with a nice low rumble at idle and a good bark when you get on the throttle. I like it a lot better than my old flowmaster.
I bought the headers second-hand, and didn't get installation instructions with them. I don't know if they come with any. The cat-back that I bought from them didn't come with installation instructions, and they confirmed that there are no instructions for that part.
