SLP Headers 350 T.P.I Questions?
Has anyone out thereinstalled a set of SLP Headers on there 350 T.P.I Camaros?
I plan on installing them on mine, with no cat, and 3" pipe into Flow-Pro Muffler.
I was wondering what the power gains are like, and if the exhaust gets much louder, also, how hard is the install?

you'll lose some low end torque by opening the exhaust up that much but the high end power gains are extremely nice. i lost power up to about 2750 but after that i gained a lot. the power gains up top were worth it in my opinion. i love having torque but in a street car there is only so much you can use.

Your best bet would have been to do a search on this one. THere are lots of members that have SLP's on thier 350 tpi's. I have them on mine and I love them. i didn't notice to much loss on the bottom end but you could tell a little differnce on the top end. My exhaust is in my sig and it's on an automatic car. If your thinking about doing it, just do it. You'll be happy you did. Also, If you can hold out for some extra cash, get em coated. You'll be much happier later down the road.

Nope, I use standard AC Dlco plugs for the Z. Getting them out is a different story. I just made myself a special socket that goes over the plugs and you use a wrnch to loosen/tighen them up.
