as far as how well the muffler flows...i would have to say that the flowmaster outflows the stock...how much i don't know exactly, but alot...as far as how much you will get by just replacing it...not much because the exhaust will still be restricted up until that last chamber...but it will probably change the sound of your car anyway.

I just got my 80 series in June. I bought it from jegs.com On their website it said that you would get 30 more horsepower from it, but I think that that is a little high. From my own experience I think that I gained about 15 to 20 horses. The difference is definately noticable over the stock exhaust and the sound is much better and deeper, in fact mine is still getting louder everday. I highly recommend it as a great replacement. I think that it is the best replacement for your muffler besides going for a true dual exhaust setup which is very difficult because of clearance issues. Have fun!

ROFLMAO....bustatc...you said u gained 15-20 hp...lol! I have the 80 series muff and i prob only gained 3-5 hp max...and im sure other people would agree with me...I would say the only way would could really gain about 10 hp is if your muffler was really messed up. LOL
