How long have your NON-coated headers lasted?

Hey guys...I'm still doing my research on all kinds of headers before I buy a set. So....I'd like to know how the the uncoated set out there are holding up...what brand/ type everyone is running......and if they are just painted...or if the have chrome plating...like the TES headers....which I'm looking into right now. Ceramic coating would definenlty be the way to go...but...I can't afford that....just thought maybe a nice set of Chrome Plated Headers would be nice....as long as they were kept nice. I mean..I don't even drive my car in the rain....haha. Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly apprectiaed. Thanks guys!

I bought my TES headers without the chrome. I could've spent the few extra bucks for chrome but since it's not as good as a Jet Hot coating then why bother. When I finally can afford it, I'll go with the best, so I won't have to worry about having to coat 'em again in the future.

I'm the third owner of mine and I have put about 20k miles on the header in about a year or so

but then again the metal is a lot thicker the ones you guys find I think

My Hedman shorties are on their 8th year and 6th winter, although they aren't the prettiest things to look at anymore I'll be buying the third y-pipe for them shortly though...
POR-15 has some coatings that can be self-applied for a fraction of the cost of sending them out to be done.
