my car doesn't have to be smogged any more because i just registered in the county next to me, so i was wondering whats the best headers for me to get, the hooker headers seem pretty good, i heard that the Edelbrock TES are horrid, and SLPs decent too, what do you guys think? and should i go full length headers??

The 2460 are shortie headers??
I thought those were long tube headers?
Hmmm.....
For $141.99 I might have to consider those. Do they come with a Y-pipe and AIR? Do they have the connector for the o2?

You have to get the y-pipe built. I think you can get them with AIR attachments and they do have a the O2 bung already built in.

Unless you know somebody, getting a y-pipe made for less than $200 is going to be tough. The Hooker 2055's come with a y-pipe (3" @ cat), avoiding the hassle of getting a pipe made. You can crimp off the A.I.R pipes and plug the O2 bung if you like, put in a 3" pipe instead of the cat. About $360 from Summit (not in paper catalog - search their website for HOK-2055).

I got my Hooker Shorty 2460s for $260 Canadian, and it cost another $250 to get the y-pipe built (after they quoted me $150--grrr).
So, my total for that part was $510 Canadian, which works out to $330 US.
Hah! I saved like $20 or $30
How come I don't feel so great after paying the total bill of more than $1500 Canadian?
;(
