Edelbrock TES for 89-92 TPI w/dual cats

Has anyone ever used these headers? Just looking for reports on quality, performance, installation hassles etc. Thanks in advance.

I have had them on my 90 for about 2 yrs. The quailty is good, I really have no compalaints about them. Well Just one.. I would throw away the head flange paper gaskets that come with them. Find something a little better to replace them. They have a donut style collector gasket that has been leak free.

Do a search on this board and the APR board.

The quality sucks, the performance is adequate, and the installation is ok.

First, I am the new TransAm383. I lost my password and when I asked for it, it said I wasn't registered. Anywho, doesn't sound like anyone is too thrilled with these headers. What would be a better alternative? I asked about the dual cat ones so I won't have to get a different catback exhaust.

Look at the group purchase thread for SLP headers. Thats my recommendation for all TPI cars.

I have them on my 91'5.7L, installing them has a pain the the rear. The collector part touches the front crossmember, causing some vibration.I paid $320 from TPIS,shipping included.I'm satisfied.
