Im looking at a set of used Edelbrock TES headers for a LG-4 to go on my L98. Will the 2 1/4" pipe fit on my stock cat?

im not positive but i dont think it will. Besides that, the 2 1/4 y-pipe will choke the life out of that L98

Don't do it, you will defeat the purpose of headers by choking to death your L98.

Remember L98 = Performance 350 used in Corvette(#1 Chevy)
LG4 = Crappy stock 305 used in most 4 door sedans of era.

Headers from a 305 don't mix on a 350.

Save up and get new ones if any.
