anyone run a Pacesetter 3" cat-back?
I just bought a Pacesetter 3" stainless steel catback with Trans Am WS6 tips already welded on for $80.00.
The cat-back came off my buddies 95 T/A convertible. How does it sound and perform on a 3rd gen tpi 305 with Dynomax shortie headers. Also, will I be able to use the hangers that are welded on the muffler to attach them to my 86 Trans Am?
Thanks,

I am running the Monza Pacesetter 3'' catback. I have a little story about this:
I bought the car with stock exhaust manifolds, dual cats and the pacesetter catback. It was fairly loud and sounded pretty good. I wanted louder, so I had a custom no muffler setup made. With that setup it got a lot louder and pulled a little better on the top end.
I then got my SLP 1 5/8 headers installed. In order to retain some backpressure and keep the volume levels in check I had the pacesetter muffler put back onto the catback so that it was in its original form. The car is very quiet at the muffler now and has a very DEEP tone.
I say its a good cat back, but I want a little louder. I am thinking of getting a Hooker Aerochamber or Flowmaster 80 series bolted in place of the Pacesetter cat back.
