Flowmaster 80 series question
Flowmaster 80 series question
do they make a 80 series cat back package? i have been searching all day for one but i couldnt find anything other then just the muffler. i need to get some kind of cat back system by tomorow for emissions at the end of the month and i like the way flowmasters look and sound. and does anyone know a good combo for a cat as well with the 80 series?
thanks ahead of time

Nopers. The American Thunder catback exhaust comes with the dual outlet 80 series muffler
thanks alot guys. i was really confused but you guys cleared stuff up. oh and i have a question. im getting exhaust today but i still have stock 2 1/2 inch pipes and i was wondering if i should get just a 80 series 2 1/2 muffler? or should i save up my money and get that sweet package that you showed me up there?
I just had a "cat back system" installed in my car. The muffler shop was a flowmaster distributor. I told them I wanted the 43083 muffler, 3 inch in two 2.5 inch out. I told them I wanted a 3 inch I pipe and they went ahead and did it for 214$ installed. The pipe was not from flowmaster, but I ended up with with a "cat back system" with a flowmaster "80" series. So you dont have to order a a full cat back system from flowmaster. A cat back is a cat back, well, assuming that the exhaust place uses mandrel bent pipes (which mine are) you will end up with a system that is just as good.

Why didn't you want a 3" in 3" out?

You can get the complete 3" 80 Series dual outlet if you order the exhaust system that has it. I never see it listed as a piece you can buy alone, but I'd ask anyway.

it is an american thunder catback system let me see if i can dig up a reciet, I bought it prolly almost 2 years ago... sorry i can find the reciet, i ordered it from summit tho, if it isnt in the catalog ask they do have it.
1986z28,
Dont worry about looking for the reciept, I already installed one that had the 2.5 outs because thats all they showed on the internet site. If I knew of the 3 inch outs, I would have ordered that one. Thanks anyhow.
