Flowmaster 80 series question

do they make a 80 series cat back package? i have been searching all day for one but i couldnt find anything other then just the muffler. i need to get some kind of cat back system by tomorow for emissions at the end of the month and i like the way flowmasters look and sound. and does anyone know a good combo for a cat as well with the 80 series?
thanks ahead of time

I just had a "cat back system" installed in my car. The muffler shop was a flowmaster distributor. I told them I wanted the 43083 muffler, 3 inch in two 2.5 inch out. I told them I wanted a 3 inch I pipe and they went ahead and did it for 214$ installed. The pipe was not from flowmaster, but I ended up with with a "cat back system" with a flowmaster "80" series. So you dont have to order a a full cat back system from flowmaster. A cat back is a cat back, well, assuming that the exhaust place uses mandrel bent pipes (which mine are) you will end up with a system that is just as good.

Why didn't you want a 3" in 3" out?

Because they don't make an 80 series with 3" out!

Who makes a muffler with 3" out?? I really wanna get rid of my skinny looking 2.5" tailpipes (I have a flowmaster 80 series with 2.5 in and out).

You can get the complete 3" 80 Series dual outlet if you order the exhaust system that has it. I never see it listed as a piece you can buy alone, but I'd ask anyway.

Yeah but they're listing this setup only for single cat cars. Mine has dual and they list only a 2.5" catback setup for dual cats. Another reason it wouldn't work is cuz I believe the I pipe to cat fitting is slip on for single cat cars and on mine the end of the pipe is flared and uses a circular clamp.

1986z28,
Is it a 2.5 out with an adapter and 3 inch tail pipes? Or is it a true 3 inch dual out? Just curious...

1986z28,
Dont worry about looking for the reciept, I already installed one that had the 2.5 outs because thats all they showed on the internet site. If I knew of the 3 inch outs, I would have ordered that one. Thanks anyhow.

I thought it was still 2.5 inch out with just 3 inch stainless tips so in effect its still 2.5 out. Am I right?
