Guys,
When installing headers - how do you get the brackets for the different accesories to fit again..?
I mean, the original manifolds are much thicker than the headers, so the brackets would be way off, right...?

I don't know about other headers, but my SLPs have spacers welded onto the flanges for the accessory supports that use header bolts/studs.

If not, then you could make some or use stacks of washers.

 

SLP also sells a kit with all the necessary hardware for installation. Don't know about any other brands though.

The spacers are little more than thick-walled piping, available at hardware or home improvement stores. Measure the difference between your header flange thickness and the manifolds, cut the pipe to length, go for it.

BTW, my Hooker 2055's came with them.
