Loud exhaust question

I want a loud exhaust system. I was thinking of getting a bullit race muffler. I would like to have two pipes running out the back. Is this possible with the race muffler? Would there be an easier/cheaper way to get my car just as loud?

Not too hard... the main ingredients are some headers with big diameter primatries (1-3/4") and exhaust pipes of 2.5" or bigger. Pretty much any aftermarket peformance muffler (Hooker, Flowmaster, etc) will also be quite a bit louder than the factory peice with the big pipes and headers.

ok, on a third gen, it is next to impossible to run true dual exhaust. yet it has been done, i dont know how but ive seen it. so if you cant do that, your next option is to get the biggest headers you can(slp makes a great set with the y-pipe, 1-3/4" primarimys and 3" collectors) but your gonna have to spend alto on them ( they sell new from yearone for somthin like $650, but my friend found a set on ebay for 350. then from there, i would get a test pipe made to go where the cat should be, because i cant stand emissions. and from there just run a single 3" pipe all the way back, if you want to split it into 2 tips you can but there really is no performance gain from having 2 tips.

If you want a "raw" loud exhuast sound.....just get an after market muffler (flowmaster, hooker, borla...etc....) and get an electronic exhaust cut out.....you can have the best of both worlds then.....
