hooker catback with flowmaster muffler

i installed a hooker catback on my car with my new engine and its not as loud as i thought it would be. at idle its pretty quiet. but ive never heard it from the outside. will a flowmaster bolt up to my catback and how much louder will it be. do they have a 3" in/dual 3" out

it will probably hook up ok but i think in order to get an 80 series flowmaster with 3" in and 3" out you have to buy the american thunder cat-back. i love the sound of flowmaster and if you have the 3" pipe behind it, it should sound great

you might try getting an 80 series with the 3"in and the 21/2" outs and take it to an exhaust shop and have them make the 21/2 outs into 3", im sure they can do it

how long have you had your muffler on there? my hooker got louder after about a month of being on. I find mine plenty loud with slp headers and no cat. if it hasn't been on long give it some time.
