Flowmaster Cat-Back...Is There Such A Way?

Hey guys...I really like the 40 series Flowmasters, but i see that they only come in a 1 enter/1 exit, not available for cat-back. So i was wondering if i bought the muffler and a Y-connector, could i just get the local muffler shop to make me dual pipes from the one muffler? I've heard lots of good, but lots of bad about the 80 series, and since my dad has dual 40 series on both of his cars, i figured it would be the best way, since i can sit there and hear his cars in personal.

2nd question is about the Flowmaster American Thunder systems. Do those come with dual exit pipes, or just one?

Also, what would be the best cat to go for? I was thinking the Dynomax Super Converter. And what about headers. I like those Hooker Super Comp. Shorties, but after getting them coated by Jet-Hot, that would be over $500 just for the headers. How are the Hooker Comp. Headers? Or what headers would you reccommend?

There is a 40 or 50 series in a catback. Its their cheapest catback. get SLP 1-3/4 if you have a 350, get whatever if you have a 305.
