Factory Inlet Size on cat?

Hey guys. Pretty soon i will be getting a Flowmaster 40 series with dual outlets on it, with the 3 inch inlet. I will be getting Catco 3 inch outlet converter, but i need to know what size inlet i need in order to not have any issues with putting it on my car.

the catback will bolt onto your stock cat. If you want to add a 3" cat you will need reducers to go from you 2.5 or 2.25" pipe to the 3" cat. Might as well cat the catback now and the cat when you get headers unless you cat needs replacing.

To be installed eventually far far far into the future: Yours if the price is right and I don't have to ship :
Hooker 1-5/8" 50 state legal headers, Dynomax 3" I pipe (PN 44063 and 43248), Catco 3" cat, and injector spacer.
