ordered hedman shortie headers with there y pipe..i hope its 3inch i forgot to ask...but ne ways i also ordered a single inlet single outlet 40 series flowmaster 3 inch...with 3 inch pipe from the y pipe all the way over the axle to the muffler with one single 3 inch tail pipe on drivers side how do you think it will sound?...btw its a 406 with big cam n **** lol

 

carbed or TPI. I have a friend with a 406 TPI w/ cat, 3 in pipe and a 40 series flowmaster. it's not loud until you get on it. and it sounds good, but what really matters is how it goes. with a 406, how the exhaust sounds isn't the biggest factor. the 400+ horses, and 500+ F/P of torque is what matters.
at least that's the case with my buddies car.
