X-pipes

I was flipping through a Jegs catalog and I saw whats called a Universal X-Pipe. Hedman makes it and its like $180. Would something like this work with long tube headers and two mufflers of choice? Im not real concerned about ground clearence as my my suspension is pretty tight and I've never bottomed out. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking into the same thing, except froma different place. I think it should work though. I mean the fox body mustangs have them and they can't be much higher than our cars.
