ok, I want to upgrade my 91 rs' exhaust with somthing better than stock. Here's the trick. I don't want to have to mess with it a lot. I want to bolt em in, and put a high flow cat on. I have the single cat exhaust going through 2 3/4 inch pipe to a flowmaster muffler, with dual tailpipes. What is the best aftermarket cat, and what is the best bolt in exhaust from the cat forward? oh, I have a 350 that the desktop dyno predicts will put out between 260 and 310 horsepower. or are my stock manifolds fine for such a wimpy 350?
SLP has Y pipes if you want to keep it simple. $165. That way you can keep the stock manifolds.

All the headers bolt in but they go to 3" cats. I dunno how off it will be with the 2.75" pipe you have going to your muffler.
I got hooker headers. If you don't need them to be certfied 50 state legal then there is a cheap set for like $150. But you ask what is the "best". The Best is SLP. Cheapest I've sen them are $375 at group purchase price. That is still without the install kit though.
