anyone with EDL headers and Hotchkis sc

I have a 91 Z and am getting ready to order a set of Edelbrock headers and wonder if the Y pipe will fit with Hotchkis subframes without modifications. The reason I ask is that I had to Mod the stock exhaust to fit the subframes.

Ive got them and the Y-pipe does not interfere with the SFCs I have, which are the jegster ones, but the exhaust follows the stock routing. What I did is cut off the collector right after the two pipes join and put a different collector on that curved before the stock piece did, but it had nothing to do with SFC clearence. You will have more problems with it if you get the larger collector, I had the 2 and 1/4 inch collector on the EDB Y-pipe.

It fits but is tight and is noisy. SO i took a trusty mallet and hammered the heck out of the y-pipe closest to the SFC just enough so bumps dont allow it to hit together.
