hey guys, thinking of getting a muffler from flowmaster- which one would sound and perform better- the 40 series, or the 80 series- i've heard that the 40 series pumps out a mean sound to it which i want and performs well . . .what do u think???

40 performs better 80 looks better. If you get the catback with the 80 that has dual 3" outlets you get the best of both.

80 series is loudest acording to flowmaster,
i would use 40 series on something like true duals.

30 series is the loudest muffler. 1 chamber.

sounds good, i just did some reading on flowmaster-turns out that they say "the 40 series is the most agressive sounding . . .and generates lots of power"
i think i'm gonna run the 40 series,
