i always see the older camaro's with two mufflers...problebly cause its dual..but i was wondering...can we do this on our cars???do they sell cat-backs like that ....

Grand Nationals, Monte Carlos and other Gbodies have 1 cat like us but aftermarket catbacks have a Y going into 1 muffler on each side to dual tailpipes. Maybe we can modify Gbody catbacks from Hooker or Borla

hmm......now you've given me something to think about for awhile....my car has spring expanders in the rear end....not too much of a clearance problem....

1 cat-1 muffler(Flowmaster 40 series...single inlet/outlet)

Y-pipe after the muffler and running custom dual pipes after the y-connector.

I had another idea last week I posted about. use the 3" dynomax pipe
(WLK-44063 DYNOMAX PIPES GM F BODY FRONT $72.99 )
to a 40 series flowmaster under the pasangers side rear seat. Then have dual outlet pipes go over the axle to each side of the rear. Much better flowing than the 80 series setup.

ya see i hang out guys building up 70's 60's and earlier syle cars..ya know...muscle cars...i'm kinda looking for something with a real muscle sound to it...my car is jacked up a little in back...with big mickey tompson like tires ya know...kinda going for the streetrod look...its kind of a beater..but..its winter here in buffalo..soo...i got time to work on it... i really like the glasspack sound....or the thrush...thats the reason i dont like the single in..double out..type exhaust setups..wich leaves me trying to find different configs....i have to have a single exhaust here....not true duals...wich i would never do on a third gen..just from what i hear on the boards....
