worth it to buy new headers?

Right now I still have my 1 1/2" dynomax headers taht I had for my 305. The "Y pipe" if you can call it taht is a 90* connection right below the passenger header.
Do you think the gains i would recieve with 1 3/4" headers and a decent Y pipe would be worth buying a new set?
I could easily put the dynomaxes on my other camaro too

I'd have a shop build you a custom
Y pipe. You could buy a Flowmaster 2 into 1
merge collector pipe and bring it to them.
They can weld up the rest pretty easy.
You'll still have lots of budget left to fix that carb and the rest.

What figure is your "TimeSlip" corrected from? I've never seem a correction factor for a crushed exhaust...Just Kiddin'

the trouble is finding a muffler shop that can do a good job. If I get either edelbrock TES or SLP's the ypipe with the adjoining pipe comes mandrel bent already. And I have the back, over the axle mandrel bent.

are 1 1/2" headers large enough for my 350?

I remember reading about a dyno shootout
to find this out. They tested all the popular
long and short, 1.5",1/5/8"and 1/3/4". The motor was an honest 400hp, 355. More power the yours or mine. The dyno max 1.5" shortys
came in 2nd in HP (by a few HP) and best in torque!
So, No I don't think bigger headers
will help you much. If you have a big wallet,
go for it. You can go to sleep at night knowing you got the baddest headers on the planet. I'd look to improving the rest of the exhaust first. The "T" shaped "Y" pipe
is pretty sad. Find an exhaust fabrication shop that can build you a "Y" pipe (like the
SLP pipe)for your car. Ask the manager of a
muffler shop. Tell him what you're looking for. Ask a Street Rodder, They get lots of custom work done. I don't know where in Canada you race (elevation) but I think your
car will run strong once ya sort it out.
