Flowtech y-pipe??

Hey all, I was wondering who here had a Flowtech Y-pipe! I have never seen one of those and I'm considering that piece cause I already have the headers. What are the diameters? is it 3" after the Y?

I went to take a look on Flowtech's website but the picture they are showing there, (supposely for 82-92 F-bodies) I believe is wrong...

I'd love to see one installed!! Thanks a lot.

i also am in this same situation ...i am assuming that the collectors are 2.5 in but I also was wondering what the size of the y pipe is at the catalytic converter. i emailed holley but all they sent me was a link to the y pipe page (which says absolutely nothing) any help would be great ...thanks

It's 2 1/2" all the way, IIRC.

Yeah that's right. 2.5" all the way through.

Oh btw, that Y-pipe and the headers pictured there are for a 88-95 CK truck.

By the way, the Flowtech Y-pipe isn't much of a Y either, the downpipe from the passenger side just T's into the crossover pipe from the driver's side. You'd probably get better results from a custom-made Y.

yea, that is two 2.5" pipes at the collectors going into a single 2.5" pipe right before the cat. Doesn't make much sense, does it?

Mac Y-Pipe

Mac Y-pipe makes 2-1/2" Y-pipe and 3" collector.
