sealent for cat-back connections

I am going to be putting on my cat back this weekend. I don't plan on getting it welded up for awhile so is there any sort of sealent for the connections? Any other ideas to help prevent leaks?

Exhaust tape, but you really should get it welded. If it's already together and all they have to do is zing a line around the pipe, I can't imagine them charging more than 20 bucks to do it...
