Exhaust System

I have right now stock pipes, cat, exhaust manifolds, except for the muffler, i have a flowmaster 80 and it sounds really wussy. It has a nice low rumble when you are close to the car but you cant hear it from a distance. I was thinking of putting hokker headers, or SLP headers, with 3 inch piping, and either no cat, or gutted gut, with true dual exhaust setup, and either 2 flowmaster 40(since I heard that they were a lot louder than 80s) or hooker mufflers. Any ideas?

With the mods you list, I wouldn't get dual exhaust over 2 1/4 piping. Any more would be too little backpressure. Personally I would go with the Hooker Headers and the Hooker cat-back.

go true duals! I am running cyclone headers (old school, sort of), then a 2 1/2" system consisting of a hi-flow cat on each side, under the front floor with a Borla XR-1 sportsman right behind each cat. I'm exiting out each side, in front of the rear wheels.
