3" Catalytic Convertors????

3" Catalytic Convertors????

I'm looking for a good convertor for less then like $70. Needs to be 3", i saw this one on ebay, anyone know about it at all? gimmie the lowdown. Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to were i can go to find one at a good price, please pass it on!! thanks

summit has 3" catco universal for 50$, wont bolt up though, need to weld a 6" pipe in

Cut the flange off your cat back, slip that cat over the 3" pipe, then weld or clamp a 6" pipe to your y-pipe and you're good to go.

Well, i guess i should explain that i'm going to "configure" (so to speak) the Y-pipe to end up at 3", cause right now it is 2.5 So i'm gonna weld a peice onto that making it 3" into the Catalytic Convertor, is the 6" weld still necessary? and for which set-up? (Certain Convertor?)

well with my setup, i got the 14" catco one from summit, i clamped it on my ypipe, then welded it to the flange and the other end of the catco, your stil gonna have to weld some pipe in there
