Cut the flange off your cat back, slip that cat over the 3" pipe, then weld or clamp a 6" pipe to your y-pipe and you're good to go.

Well, i guess i should explain that i'm going to "configure" (so to speak) the Y-pipe to end up at 3", cause right now it is 2.5 So i'm gonna weld a peice onto that making it 3" into the Catalytic Convertor, is the 6" weld still necessary? and for which set-up? (Certain Convertor?)
well with my setup, i got the 14" catco one from summit, i clamped it on my ypipe, then welded it to the flange and the other end of the catco, your stil gonna have to weld some pipe in there
