hey guys..i need a new exhaust system and im kinda having trouble finding things that work together...due to monetary and emissions testing i have to keep my piece of crap hollowed-out log exhaust manifolds..however im looking to get an SLP y-pipe, a new cat(with the little A.I.R. tube), and a cat-back..i already have my eyes set on a hooker cat-back, and i think the SLP y pipe is decent or are there any better ones? and are there any cats that go 2 1/2 inch to 3 inch? ive been looking but so far unsuccessful..

 

Just curious but aren't some shortie headers emissions legal (ie edelbrocks, slp etc.) , or are NJ emissions testing that strict?

 

yea but i dont have the money to pay for them...i have a set of long tubes that i might put on after i pass emissions but theyre not coated so im a little shaky on that.
