I sold a set of those last year. They really are a cool design. Until you need to change your oil filter.

That's what remote filters are for.

No ****

When I bought my Z28 it had a set of those on it. They were the big 1 7/8" ones. The previous owner didn't bother to install a remote filter kit so everytime I changed the oil I had to drop the collector. It's no biggy with those headers, you just unbolt the 2 sides and slide the collector extension out.

Does anyone know with confidence if these headman (1 7/8") clear the lakewood (15020) T-5 belhousing? The lakewood is substantually larger than the stock bellhousing. I believe the stock was designed to accept a 10.5" or 11" clutch and the Lakewood accepts at least a 12" double or maybe triple floater.

All the part numbers are listed on the Hedman site. Look under the race header category. Wait until you see the prices that go with those part numbers. They are a very cool design though. Mine dissassembled into 3 or 4 pieces.

Thats what I wanted to see was the prices. I already have hooker supercomp 1 3/4 headers. I dont really need anything bigger right now. They werent exactly cheap either.
