FM 40 series, dual outs

I always hear you guys talking about how you can't get a 40 series FM with dual pipes. My roomate got one, but I thought maybe he didn't know what he had, even though he said he was sure it was a 40 series. I just checked jegs...40 series in/ dual out...2 chamber. dont' know where you all are looking????????

The 40 and 80 can both have dual outlets but the outlets are in different places.

JFYI, the 40 series in/dual out is 3 chambers, not 2. Check Jegs.com. The 80 series is 2 chamber, but im not sure which would be louder still, cause it IS a 40 series LOL.

Im thinking of getting a FM 40 series and getting a muffler shop to run the pipes from the muffler back. Think about it:

American Thunder Cat back Dual Out - $316

FM 40 series - $95

That leaves me around $200 to have the custom pipes made plus to have a different sounding ThirdGen, because hardly anybody has a 40 series on their 3rd gen. But, im still thinking.

40 series is 2 chambers, 50 series is 3 chambers, JFYI. www.flowmastermufflers.com The flowmaster catback that is single 3" in out uses the 40 series and is around $240 for the whole catback.

Tas, the 40 series single inlet/dual outlet is 3 chambers. Check Jegs.com. The single inlet/outlet is 2 chambers.
