What headers? How much do you expect to be able to do yourself? How much can you afford to have done custom?

The cheapest, do-it-yourself route would be to get headers w/y-pipe, full cat-back, and put a pipe where the cat is supposed to go.

i've personally ran headers straight through to a flowmaster,it sounded pretty good.Ofcourse i had the tES headers from edelbrock which came with a y pipe and was made to bolt right up.The emmisions tubes on the headers i just blocked off.Unless you plan on getting an exhaust shop to custom bend you a y pipe ect.Try to find a direct bolt up header set up.As far as straight pipes,Imo it doesn't sound that good.I though it sounded too much like a truck coming down the road.
