SLP Headers??

I have a 91 formula with the complete SLP kit for that year and have a question for you guys. One of my air tubes cracked on the driver side header so I pulled the header and found that the air tubes do not stick up like the headers that are sold by SLP now. My air tubes bend to the rear where they connect to the hose. Did SLP make headers different in 91? My car only has 41k miles on it and I know that those headers have been on there since 91. I have the entire 2 on the left system and everything fits together perfectly all the way to the headers. I am wondering if they were made that way at one point or maybe modified by the dealer so that they would fit. If anyone has any thoughts, post em. Thanks

SLP used to make Tri-Y headers, perhaps that is what you have? I would suggest a trip to the SLP message board or call them up and ask.
