What Am I Going To Do? Help
I thought I had decided to stick with my cat-back and have the long tubes connect to it with a y pipe. One problem though, no shops around do mandrel bending. They say if I get mandrel bent pipe then they work with that, but if bends have to be made to that, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of mandrel bent?
Anyone have any ideas, I'd like long tubes into my Hooker cat-back, just in case I have to go thru emissions soon, at least they can hook their hoses up to tailpipes.

why cant they hook their hoses up to true dual exhaust? its still 2 pipes.
what you could do is put a length of pipe in each exhaust tube with flanges on each end, so you could unbolt these small sections of pipes and bolt in 2 cats with flanges (one on each pipe) when you need to be etested. just go to the wreckers and grab another cat, as i seem to recall in many of your other posts you mentioned you are still running a cat with your catback system. then go the muffler shop and get them to put flanges on all the pieces.

You can get pieces at www.JCWhitney.com pretty cheap. They sell them 45*, 90*, and 180* IIRC.

I'm sure Summit or Jegs sells them to but I know JC Whitney carries them in stainless.
If you need to get stainless pipe, go to www.onlinemetals.com They don't have the bends, but the price of the pipe is A LOT cheaper than any other place I've found.
Here's a link for the T-304 stainless to match the bends that JC Whitney sells.

JC Whitney has those same bends in aluminized steel if you're on a budget.

there will be room....you only have 2 choices here...duals or a custom y-pipe and it sounds like you cant find a good place to do a custom y. i am throwing on hedman long tubes as soon as school is done and they will be hooking into my dual exhaust that i already have. run dynomax bullet mufflers for more clearance.
