Can someone tell me what the I pipe is and what size the stock I pipe is for my 92 RS 305 TBI? I want to order the Edelbrock RPM Series Cat Back system but I do not know which one, there are 2 choices one is for the ones that came with the stock 2 3/4 I pipe and the other is for the ones that came with the stock 2 1/2 I pipe.

It's called a y pipe and i believe stock ones were either 2 and a quarter or 2 and a half inches,

The I pipe is the intermediate pipe, it goes between the catalytic converter and the muffler. I don't know what size yours came with stock, but it is easy to measure.

 

Stock 305 TBI is 2.25". Sad But true. Get the 3" catback not the 2.5" one.
