Do you guys know what kind of exhaust the 4th gen TAs and SS have? I really like the sound of those exhausts! Is there any exhaust systems out there that you think would sound like that? Any recommendations on brands or models that may offer this sound? Thanks!

 

I believe the 4th gen SS and Trans Am's have the SLP exhaust. Because SLP does the SS option, that would make sense to me. I'm not 100% positive, so dont mark my word. SLP also makes exhaust systems for 3rd gen's too. Hope this helps.

SLP makes their exhausts www.slponline.com look their and you can probably find the one for your car.

 

Stock factory GM max size pipe is 2.75". SLP puts their own catback on the SS and some years of WS6. SLP is 3" with straight through muffler.

Camarokid01, what exhaust system on that website you gave me would go with an 89 Formula (350 TPI 5.7L) and sound like the 4th gen Trans Ams and SS? Thanks!
