i know i asked about the same question a few days ago but i never got the answer i was looking for so ill refrase it. i searched forever adn did not find anything. i have a 79 350, has a 600 cfm edelbrock carb, 3inch by 14 inch open air cleaner, flowtech headers and y pipe. now i bought a used 80 series flowmaster muffler that is 2.5 in adn out and has to be welded on, i talked to the only 2 exhaust shops around here about hooking it all up, removing my cat, and adding a 3 inch i-pipe. well midus sais they wont remove the cat but they will make me an i-pipe for 55 bucks and will hook it all up but they have to look at it 1st before they give me a quote. the other place is a locally owned place and i know them a little so they will give me a little discount and he said he will remove my cat and hook it all up but he has to look at it first. how much should i be looking to pay for have this all hooked up and welded on and a i-pipe made? anybody's advice and oppinions are appreciated

i think you might have to drive down there and have em check it out.

thats what i was afraid of. its about 40 miles in opposite directions to them and i dont have alot of time on my hands. i just figured somebod has had something similar to this done to their car
