I've got a used set of SLP shorty 1 3/4 headers.What gaskets,brand,part # do you guys suggest.Thanks

 

Call SLP and tell them you have those headers and need all new gaskets. Should be about $40 total.. including the gaskets for the heads and donut gaskets. I suggest using Stage 8 locking bolts (1" not 3/4") from Summit. The SLP bolts aren't that great.

 

I've been impressed with the Percy's dead soft aluminum gaskets I used when I put my SLPs on. I ordered them from Summit (p/n PHP-66012) for 34.95. I've had no leaks so far. Prior to this, I had used standard cardboard/fiber gaskets with Heddman headers. I suppose either one could have caused the leaks I used to have. My vote is for any of the "dead soft" copper or aluminum gaskets.
