I went junkyarding to day and picked up some exhaust off an 86 T/A with a 305 TPI. Im going to replace the exhaust from the cat back on my 83 LG4 T/A. Right now it has what looks to be a 2" or 2 1/4" pipe off the cat splitting into two 1 ?/? pipes over the rear end into two crap looking mufflers. The exhaust I got today has a much bigger pipe off the car (2 1/2-2 3/4?) into a regular crossflow muffler. Is this worth putting on? Id have to thing there would be SOME performance gain from this. The exhaust on my car now looks to be a pretty poor system. Anyway, can all you guys and gals voice your opinions? Thanks in advance.
