What is the loudest muffler. I am thinking about going with flowmaster but I want all 3"pipes. Any suggestions? I was thinkn about the American Thunder cat back. Also will a 4" I pipe to 3" be a lot better than 3" all the way?

from my expericence, having a single size for your exhaust pipes is beneficial to flow-rates because changes in size of the pipes causes turbulence.

If it were me I would want larger than 3" exhaust on a motor like that. If you could get 4" all the way I would go that way. If you cant get it mandrel bent I would say just stick with a 3" though. Also, what kind of headers do you have? What kind of money are you looking to spend on the exhaust?

I actually decided to blow the thousand on the mufflex 4" system. I have thrown so much money in this car as far as motor and rear that it's sensless to cut corners now. I have the hooker supercomp LTs. Have you heard of anyone just bolting this system in or am I looking at fabrications costs also?

I think that there have been a few that just bolted them in but there are a lot of people that had to have them modified. I went with true duals after my hooker LT's myself. Sound clips in sig.
