I got a fully built 350 in my 89 bird, and the exhaust sounds horrible! I spent 1100 on hedman ceramic coated long tubes, a spintech muffler, and a custom full 3" exhaust and it sounds just as weak as the 305 originally in the car with a stock muffler! It sounds like a v6!

Anyone else have a bad experience with spintechs? Everyone creams themselves over spintechs online but I feel ripped off

 

i though mine were great when i had them

 

I'm thinking I might actually have a misfire and am unfairly blaming spintech. Runs real good for a 7 cylinder though

 

I've got a pair of spintech super pro streets on my '88 c4 with longtubes, x pipe into 2.5 duals and they sound amazing.

 

Spin tech is my favorite muffler and I have had about all of them since 1978

 

They are my favorite too, I have never had one that didn't sound downright awesome.

 

I've been real happy with my Hooker, but I've had several friends with Spintech and they all loved them.

 

What muffler did you use? They make a bunch of different types in different sound levels.
