MAC Flowpath Mufflers

I did perform a search about MAC Flowpath mufflers. Yet, it seems many either haven't heard them, had bad experiences installing their products, or the topic was just plain ignored.

Does anyone know how their stainless steel mufflers sound like? I do know their mufflers have chambers that use the noise cancellation theory similar to Flowmaster.

I have Flowmaster #17151 cat back on my '88IROC and love the sound of the single outlet. I'm just curious if anyone has heard MAC's Flowpath.

I just posted under "The loudest most agressive exhaust" about Mac. Personally they are my favorite sounding Cat-back. I am yet to hear a better system in the $300 price range on a thirdgen. Hooker, Flows, and Edelbrock all come up short. My friends 305 TPI has no other mods but the Flowpath system. That thing is loud I can hear him start and rev it from three cross-streets away at his house. It has a great tone kinda the tone of Borla and the growliness or flows.

I hear what your saying tho. I only have heard of two or three people on these boards that have the system. No one seems to have every heard of Mac's stuff. That is another reason why I like 'em, there not on every other truck and muscle car you see.

As far as installation, I've heard from the few people that have the system that it is the easiest system they have ever installed. It fits right into the stock location using only bolts. No gaskets, slipjoints, or clamps.

Yes, the Mac exhaust is dual tips, one on each side of the car, strqaight out the back. You'll have a nice x-mas.

I have to agree and let you know that there is someone else out there who likes the MAC's. They sound great all around, better than anything I have ever heard on a thirdgen. Can't beat them for price either.
