Does anyone make an aftermarket Y-pipe for a dual cat system? I checked with my car parts guy and he said that walker does not make one any more.

 

The pipe I am looking for is the short y-pipe that exits after the cats.

 

I just got one from Summit the other day. It is part number FLO-16078. The cost was $46.95 and had to wait about two weeks for it.

I will get a pic of it in the next day or so.

I also ordered these two parts from jcwhitney.com

81ZX2937T (2 45* pipes with 2.5" inside diameter ends)

21ZX3254N - straight section of 2.5" outside diameter pipe.

The flowmaster y-pipe/collector above has and inside diameter of 2.5" so once I get my pipe from jcwhitney it should be easy to just pop them all together.. Then I just have to take it to get it welded.

 

It basically that collector with the two pipes extented and bent to go in to the converters smoothly.

Car Craft did a test on this part few years ago and found 10 RWHP and 8 RWTQ by swapping it for the factory tee'd "F" design.
