question about stock style exhaust ....
I have a question about the stock style exhaust.....for the Dual cat 350 cars......Where can I get the rubber mount that holds up the two cats and y-pipe? Mine is all dry rotted and Im afraid to put my new exhaust on and have it come off or something.... The guy at the exhaust place said he didnt have it....so now Im stuck. Its on now...but Im afraid to drive it...The exhaust sounds good though....
Here's a run down of what I did if anybody wants to know...
Custom 3" pipe run in stock location to the cats
2 Catco high flow cats
Flowmaster Y collector into 3" hog clamp
3" I-pipe into Dynomax Bullet Racing Muffler
3.5" Tailpipe hidden under bumper......
To tell the truth it sounds better than the dual exhaust I had on it...and now its emissions legal..
Any advice on that rubber mount/clamp.....I would appreciate it....thanks

The pipe(Ypipe, Ipipe, tailpipe) ended up costing me almost $200 with labor...then you figure $100 a piece for the cats, and $50 for the Flowmaster Y, and $35 for the muffler....but since I have had so much stuff done there, they thru in the muffler...
Every shop is different...just make sure its Mandrel bent pipe...or you will be wasting your money. It flows SOO much better now. Good luck...hope that helps..

good idea...just tell them to bend the drivers side a little lighter...youll notice if you look at it that where the two pipes come together before the cats(straight piece where the two pipes are side by side) the drivers side is smashed in a little to make the pipes fit side by side.....it looks like it really would hurt the flow.

Part# for the hanger is 10081609. It is discontinued. Call VPI at 1-877-846-8243 they may still have some stock left.

Thats cool. I've definetly heard single exhaust that sounded better than duals before.
