i have a 1989 350. 5.7 tuned port injection Camaro IROC-Z...its completly bone stock right now and i want to put an exhaust on it first...one of my friends has a mustang with the american thunder exhaust and it sounds real nice...i just need to no will it sound just as good or better...and how loud it will be?

 

I have the American Thunder 3in catback on my 86 305 roc. it sounds real nice. i love the loud flowmaster tone. the interior resonance is pretty high but i prefer it that way. in short it will sound good if you like how ur friend stang sounds u will def like how it sounds on u iroc.

 

I am 100% happy with mine.

 

thanks for your posts...but will it be at the point where cops will be pulling me over for it being to loud...i mean its a red iroc...its already a cop magnet especially with a 18 year old kid drivin it...thanx for yur posts

 

im a 19 year old with a black iroc. cops have never pulled me over for my exhaust being as loud as it is. sure they look (but then again so do a whole lot of other people ) but i never been pulled over for noise pollution reasons. now that i got my headers in the mail that may change ohh well

 

I got pulled over for my american thunder catback be4, then again it was 4 in the morning, WOT down back streets with headers and a gutted cat. Was fun, good guy let me off. It sounds dope man, but it probably wont sound as good as on ur friends stang any car with true dual sounds hella better IMO. Still sounds sweet tho dont get me wrong. Im extremely happy.
