Coating or not?

im lookin into getting a set of SLP 1 3/4 headers for my 91. ive read they are stainless so they shouldnt rust correct? if thats true then do i need the coating on them or not? im not goin for looks butt for performance and bang for the buck....

if you got the money, do it... the slp's do rust and coating any header will reduce the heat in the engine bay, so its a good idea anyway.
