out with the cat, in with the cutout

is it possible to remove the cat and weld in a cutout in its place? also im looking at putting on a mccord powerplate so whats the best cutout to go along with that? i have a 3" single catback but im not sure what the stock size is of the pipe running into the cat, think welding in adapters would do the trick? anyone help me out here?

yeap, it can be done. Just get a flowtech cutout and weld it in where the cat used to be and be done with it.

Yes I did that with my car but then just installed the 4" mufflex system so now I am driving at risk with no cat.
