02 sensor

Okay all this emission stuff and sensors are out of hand. I just sold my 69 camaro and did not have to deal with any of this. But where is the 02 sensor located on the exhaust?

drivers side exaust manifold, it is on the side of the collector facing the front of the car.

if you have an o2 socket, pop it on there, with an 18" extention and get out the penitrating grease and your breaker bar.

On long tube headers it goes into the collector, I am not sure on the shorty's. I just installed long tubes on my car and f*cked up, I did not have an o2 bung welded onto my collector while I had it off of the car. Now I have to drill out a hole and have one welded on with it on the car (unless I want to take the header back off, which I dont) because the car will not run right without it.
